Public Library social media policies; a legal and realistic overview
Social media is a large part of our modern world and can be very important to promote library programs and interact with the local community. Unfortunately social media also has many issues and pitfalls and can cause many issues without appropriate rules and guidelines. This webinar seeks to look at what social media is, what legal guidelines there are for public entities such as libraries, why you should have a social media policy for your library and what should and should not be included in your libraries social media policy. This webinar will be about an hour in length and be worth 1 LEU
