Social Work in Libraries - 1 LEU

Social Work in Libraries - 1 LEU

Recent survey data shows that Indiana libraries lack the presence of full-time social workers and high-impact partnerships with local agencies who provide such services. We recognize that providing patrons with adequate social work services is crucial to a positive library experience.

This webinar, co-sponsored by the Indiana Library Federation Mental Health Taskforce and the Indiana State Library, will feature a panel of full-time library social workers and library representatives whose libraries have developed strategic partnerships with local agencies to improve services for their patrons. Presenters are Yanna McGraw, Indy PL, Kayla Milledge, Huntington City-Twp. Public Library, Jordan Orwig, Sullivan County Public Library.

Join us to hear more about how your library can adopt a similar approach for your patrons. Register for this event by clicking the below. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.
