Description:

Playing games can be helpful to building relationships and learning empathy. In this discussion Dr. Connell will specifically cover how TTRPGs help players grow. The discussion will center why games are important activities for humans to participate in, the research behind engaging with narratives and how that can build empathy, and how utilizing safety tools helps create safe spaces for players to learn and grow. Everyone is encouraged to come with questions and join in the discussion.
